Privacy Statement

Overview:

Sakerhetspartner Norden AB is committed to respecting the privacy of our Clients. Because of the nature of our business activities, the enhancement of a Client’s Emergency Preparedness, our overriding goal is to provide a safe, secure service during and after the data collection process. This Privacy Statement sets forth the data collection and usage policies and practices that apply to the construction of a Speed-Tec Emergency Procedure Plan (EPP) and does not apply to information we collect in any other fashion.

On commencement of an EPP project, the subject is given a unique base template code and, until the process is complete, the address of the Facility and the identity of the Organisation is withheld from all processing personnel, with the exception of the Project Leader. The Project Leader is the sole contact between Sakerhetspartner Norden AB and the Client. On completion of the project, this base template code becomes the Access Code to the delivery vehicle; currently a single, locked, pdf document.

During an EPP project, your data will be stored and processed in whole or in part in Great Britain. Where there are issues relating to Fire Precautions, the information we gather relating to your Facility or Organisation may be shared with our Fire Engineering Department in Lulea, Sweden, but the address of every Facility and the identity of every Organisation is withheld.

Sakerhetspartner Norden AB is affiliated with companies, worldwide, in order to deliver the products and services we offer. However, no sensitive data is passed to these affiliates. "Affiliated company" means entities that control, are controlled by or are under common control of Sakerhetspartner Norden AB. No subcontractors are used in the construction of an EPP.

Sakerhetspartner Norden websites may, periodically, contain links to other Web sites over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other web sites to which you choose to link from our site. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those other Web sites so you can understand how they collect, use and share your information, should you wish to use their services.

Collection and Use of Information:

During the construction of an EPP, we request that you provide personal information, including names, addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and any other information from which your identity is discernible. In other areas, we collect or may collect geographic information that is not unique to you such as your GPS reference, post code and common knowledge proximity site information. Sometimes we collect or may collect sensitive proximity site information. Where there is perceived to be an issue, the parties which display the information within their EPP Systems, are invited to confirm acquiescence to the sharing of that information.

In addition, we may indirectly collect information about you when you use third party services, such as Architects, Consultants and Contractors, to supply us with information. Such information will be subject to, and treated in accordance with, the policies and practices described in this Privacy Statement.

In furnishing Sakerhetspartner Norden with information of any kind, you are thereby consenting to the use of that information in accordance with the policies and practices described in this Privacy Statement.

Our Use of Your Information:

We use the information we gather, whether personal, geographic, collective or technical, for the production of an EPP, thus delivering the products and services that we offer.

If you have provided consent for us to do so, we may also use the information we gather to inform you of other service upgrades available from us or our affiliated companies, from time to time. We may also use the information to contact you about your opinion of current products and services or potential new products and services that may be offered.

Choices Regarding the Disclosure of Personal Information to Others:

We do not disclose your combined information to Third Parties, except as set forth below.

We disclose information to Third Parties if you consent to such disclosure. For example, if there is localised interruption of communication and you indicate that you would like your EPP System relayed to the Emergency Services, Security Services, or to other members of your Organisation, we shall oblige. We shall only e mail (or, if necessary, hand deliver) the locked EPP System to your chosen recipient. It will be your duty to divulge the Access Code to the recipient. If circumstances are exceptional, but only with official authorisation, we will provide the Access Code to the recipient.

We disclose information to individuals we employ to perform functions on our behalf. These individuals will have access to your personal information as necessary to perform their functions, but they do not have access to your site address or Organisation identity. In certain circumstances, such as a high profile site, it may be impossible to shroud the Organisation’s identity or the facility in question, but every endeavour is made to achieve this. Individuals may not share information with any other third party.

We disclose information if legally required to do so, if requested to do so by a Government Agency, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (b) protect our rights of property or our affiliated companies; (c) prevent a crime or protect national security; or (d) protect the personal safety of the public.

Other Uses of Information:

We may, from time to time, indicate to other users, or potential users, the fact that your Organisation is operating a Sakerhetspartner EPP. This is for business promotion purposes only and no confidential information will be divulged during the process.

We may, from time to time, indicate to other users, or potential users, the details of any software upgrade features that enhance your Organisation’s EPP System. This will not involve divulging personal information.

Access to and Modification of Your Information:

We retain, indefinitely, all the information we gather about you in an effort to make your repeat use of Sakerhetspartner services more efficient, practical, and relevant. Should a Client wish, however, for all information collected to be deleted from our records, we shall oblige within seven working days and provide written confirmation to that effect.

Security of Personal Information:

We have implemented commercially reasonable, technical and organisational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.

Data Protection:

Our processes are frame worked to comply with the British Government implementation of the European Union Data Protection Directive.

Changes to, or breaches of Privacy Statement:

If we decide to materially change our Privacy Statement for EPP Systems, we will post those changes through a prominent notice on the web site so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and to whom we will disclose it.

If at any time, you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Statement or believe that we have not adhered to it, please feel free to email Head of UK Operations, Nigel Urquhart, NIGELURQ@aol.com, or Chief Executive, Leif Nystrom, leif.nystrom@sakerhetspartner.se , or call our Headquarters at +46 920 434300. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to promptly answer your question or resolve your problem.
